In the XV century Estella was known as “Estella the beauty” and, at the moment, it honors this adage: It´s a romantic city which has palaces, stalely houses, churches, monasteries, bridges and beautiful buildings that contributes to beknonn as the “northern Toledo”.

The river Urederrra was declared natural reserve in 1987, and the place where it births is one of the most beautiful places in Navarre.
